PART TIME FABULOUS’ journey continues as our 2 year anniversary passes on September 29,  2009.  On that day two years ago,  Alethea Root and I, Jules Bruff, first spoke about making PART TIME FABULOUS.   Making this film, which is loosely inspired by my own life…has been incredibly challenging and rewarding.  I have been rewarded 10 fold by sharing my story (utilizing creative license, of course) with the world. At the same time, I have been challenged to dig deep, work hard and be courageous.

Right now we are basking in the glow of a summer filled with accolades and awards.  We are also working with two different distribution companies that specialize in unique exhibition platforms.  At the end of October,PART TIME FABULOUS will screen at the OJAI FILM FESTIVAL.

Both Alethea and I will be traveling again with the film in November. Alethea will be attending the Rendezvous with Madness Film Festival in Toronto, Canada, which is screening  PART TIME FABULOUS, while  I will be screening the film in Beruit, Lebanon, at Notre Dame University – Louaize for the 5th Annual Student Film Festival where  I have been invited to speak about Indie film making.

We would like to reach as many people as possible with our film.  The amount of people, WORLD WIDE,  suffering from mental health issues is staggering. We would like to help alleviate some of the pain and suffering out there…and help people “come out of the closet”, if you will, regarding mental health issues.  Our message is clear: you are not alone and help is available.
